Lampivaara Amethyst Mine is located on top of Lampivaara fell 5 km from Luosto centre. The mine is located in the middle of Pyhä-Luosto National park and is probably the only jewellery mine in the world that welcomes visitors. The mine is open for visitors around the year. You can arrive Lampivaara on your own or join the safaris or tours organized by the safari companies.
